Treasury Associate Program

• Work with key business partners on hedging, new product offerings, pricing decisions, etc.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects, working with discretion and confidentiality
• Invest in personal development and growth; you value and actively seek constructive feedback
• Develop breadth of experience in core Treasury disciplines
• Represent Treasury on cross functional / cross product working groups, projects and forums
• Liaise between internal stakeholders (business, accounting, risk, legal and tax) and external advisors where appropriate
• Build a wide network between Finance, Treasury and broader TD teams
• Participate in specialized programming
• Structured training and workshops to develop core competencies
• Record of excellence in academics balanced with a range of extracurricular activities
• A high degree of numeracy and comfort with financial and quantitative analysis, including modeling and / or hedging
• A quantitative mindset committed to pursuing a career in Treasury and Balance Sheet Management
• A sharp eye for process simplification, automation and innovation; can dig through voluminous data
• Strong technology user; early adopter and can learn new tools quickly
• Understands financial markets and instruments, financial engineering, financial institution operations, bank product structure, pricing and transfer pricing, legislative and / or regulatory environments
• Self-starter and independent thinker with proven strong problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities and organizational skills
• Completing a graduate degree in a quantitative discipline (Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Data, etc.) or a Master of Business Administration (MBA)
• At least 3 years' work experience post-undergraduate degree with increasing responsibilities in a related field
