Position Summary
Arrow Machine and Fabrication Group is a growing company specializing in precision machining and fabrication in Off‑Road, Engineered Products and Automotive industries. Our Off‑Road Group is looking for an experienced Cost Analyst to support the day‑to‑day accounting, reporting and analysis. We are looking for someone with keen attention to detail who can successfully multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Weekly cost analysis for KPI metrics.
- Performing monthly, quarterly & annual closing activities; completing account reconciliations; managing job costing processes, including tracking project costs and profitability.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities including assisting with budget and forecast preparation and providing monthly variance analysis to plan.
- Own the inventory cycle counting program, including implementation at facilities that need to participate across Arrow.
- Own quarterly inventory costing updates and customer re‑pricing.
- Calculate and present overhead burden rates as required, at least annually.
- Crosstrain to provide support to other accounting staff - KPI’s, reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Ad‑Hoc costing analysis to support business decision making.
- Support other divisions as required.
Educational Requirements
Post‑secondary education in accounting with CPA designation or pursuing.Required Skills & Expertise
