Job description

Job Title : Report Developer

Location : Toronto, ON

Salary Range : 75 CAD / hr on T4

Introduction

Join our dynamic team to help transition our reporting systems to a modern platform. This role involves working on-site, contributing to a significant migration project. You'll collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition and modernization of our reporting capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Demonstrated working knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Report Builder (At least 2 years of experience)
Demonstrated working knowledge of SQL query languages (T-SQL, PL-SQL) (At least 4 years of experience)
Demonstrated working knowledge of DAX programming (At least 2 years of experience)
Experience working with ETL tools, such as Azure Data Factory, Client SSDT

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience building, testing, and implementing complex reports, dashboards, and other objects

Experience providing technical guidance and subject matter expertise on report implementation

Experience building data models optimized for business intelligence and analytic functions

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Participate in reporting needs assessment to understand the functionality and design of current operational reports

Collaborate with the project team and stakeholders to migrate operational reports to appropriate CDT solution standard reporting features or Power BI tools

Design and develop activities to migrate operational reports to Power BI in alignment with standards and guidelines

Troubleshoot and apply corrective actions to resolve issues with migrated reports and dashboards during pre-release testing

Provide relevant documentation to support migration activities and knowledge transfer
