What you can expect to do here :
- Dive into Research and Analysis : You'll conduct research, gather data, and perform traffic analyses to support our projects.
- Collaborate on Reports : You'll assist in preparing comprehensive reports that drive our projects forward.
- Create Impactful Presentations : You'll help develop presentation materials, proposals, and strategies that make a difference.
- Perform Technical Assessments : You'll engage in calculations and technical assessments to ensure project accuracy.
- Design and Review : You'll prepare and review technical drawings and details, contributing to the design process.
- Plan Engineering Projects : You'll assist in creating preliminary and detailed engineering plans for signalized intersections, roundabouts, and highway / road designs.
- Estimate and Quantify : You'll help prepare cost estimates and quantity take-offs for transportation infrastructure projects.
- Draft Tender Documents : You'll assist in preparing tender documents and specifications for transportation infrastructure projects.
- Document and Report : You'll contribute to the preparation of reports and other project-related documentation.
- Field Construction Support : You'll work with the Field Construction Team to perform site construction review duties on civil infrastructure projects.
- Technical Task Support : You'll provide support and assistance in executing technical tasks.
- Quality Control : You'll participate in QC review of construction documentation.
- Engage in Field Work : You'll set up traffic counting equipment and collect parking data.
- Adapt and Assist : You'll take on other duties as assigned, showcasing your versatility.
What you'll bring to WSP :
- You have an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
- You are registered with the provincial engineering association.
- You bring 0 - 4 years of industry-related experience.
- You have working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and the MS Office Suite.
- You are familiar with municipal / transportation design standards and specifications.
- You possess excellent technical, analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
- You have great communication skills, both verbal and written.
- You have a desire to take on new challenges and grow professionally.
- You hold a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle, which is a strong asset.
