Our client is seeking a Purchaser to join their team. This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment and possesses strong interpersonal skills. You will play a key role in ensuring the continuous flow of raw materials, preventing production disruptions, and managing vendor relationships.
The position offers a stable in-office environment with direct collaboration alongside production and design teams.
What our client has to offer :
Competitive salary range of $65,000 to $70,000 (with flexibility for exceptional candidates)

Responsibilities :
Source and procure materials and components in alignment with cost, quality, and delivery expectations.
Monitor raw material needs and manage min-max inventory levels, utilizing ERP / MRP system prompts for action.
Proactively forecast material requirements to prevent production issues and avoid last-minute procurement.
Obtain competitive bids, support contract or pricing negotiations, and monitor market trends for cost-saving opportunities.
Conduct vendor evaluations and maintain strong relationships, resolving minor issues and escalating concerns when necessary.
Collaborate closely with production and design teams to review material requirements and communicate delays or issues impacting delivery targets.
Assist in resolving non-conformances, processing vendor returns, and ensuring accurate documentation for invoicing.
Support engineering change requests related to materials, parts, or suppliers.
Maintain accurate purchasing data within ERP systems and ensure compliance with company procurement standards.
Qualifications :
3–5 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong negotiation and supplier management fundamentals.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings, BOMs, and CAD details.
Proficiency in ERP / MRP systems and MS Office applications.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Professional certifications (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) are considered an asset.
