Job description

Thisis a hybrid (onsite 3 days / week) role based in MontrealQC.

Responsibilities

  • Deliveraccurate data in a timely manner to key business users (BAUrequests ServiceNow Ticketsrequests)
  • Implementand manage company data management practices andpolicies
  • Undertakeperformance turning andtroubleshooting
  • Performremediation of reporting hygieneissues.
  • Implementcontinuousimprovement
  • Mentorskills within the reportingteam

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in computer science or a related information technologyfield
  • Strongknowledge in writing SQLs using RDBMS like SybaseDB2
  • Deepunderstanding of defect tracking tool such asJira
  • Experience / exposureto version control tools such asGIT
  • Experienceof working in Agileteams
  • Experiencein the PowerBI reporting tool(optional)
  • Goodanalytical and problemsolvingskills
  • Goodinterpersonal and communicationskills
  • Abilityto work under time and resource constraints and find simple andeffectivesolutions
  • Motivatedto expand technical and businessknowledge

    • PreferredQualifications

  • Exposureto other reporting tools like TableauBusinessObjects
  • Exposureto reporting using cloudtechnologies
  • Experience / exposureto scripting using Python Unix / Linuxshell
  • Experiencein BOXI report development and universebuilding
  • Goodunderstanding of user security in BO and additional knowledge onCMC is aplus
