Chef de file en matière d’offre de solutions de services et d’information, LexisNexis est à la recherche d’une ou un responsable du développement des ventes au Canada.

La personne idéale doit posséder une expérience professionnelle avérée en vente dans un milieu dynamique et performant. Sous la supervision de la gestionnaire principale ou du gestionnaire principal des ventes, vous créerez et trouverez des occasions d’affaires afin de générer de nouveaux revenus pour l’entreprise.

Responsabilités

  • Collaborer étroitement avec les partenaires des ventes et du marketing pour planifier des démonstrations et des rencontres, faire du démarchage et créer de véritables occasions d’affaires conformément aux lignes directrices approuvées sur la gestion des ventes.
  • Faire un grand volume d’appels de sollicitation à froid et un suivi auprès des clients potentiels recensés.
  • Trouver des clients potentiels et déterminer qui sont les décideurs et les influenceurs des entreprises au sein desquelles ils travaillent.
  • Effectuer de la recherche sur les clients potentiels au moyen de répertoires, de sites Web d’organismes et de bases de données internes et externes.
  • Tenir à jour les dossiers et les profils des clients dans le logiciel de gestion des relations avec la clientèle (GRC) et gérer les données confidentielles et sur les clients potentiels.
  • Connaître, comprendre et appliquer la proposition de valeur de LexisNexis et nos processus professionnels de calibre mondial.

Compétences recherchées

  • Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais (à l’écrit et à l’oral)
  • Expérience en génération de pistes et en ventes sédentaires
  • Expérience dans les hauts volumes de sollicitation à froid (50 appels et plus par jour
  • Ouverture, vivacité d’esprit et capacité de travailler de façon autonome et en équipe
  • Baccalauréat ou diplôme collégial
  • Excellentes aptitudes à la communication orale et écrite
  • Rigueur et respect des processus
  • Excellent sens de l’organisation
  • Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint et Outlook)
  • Maîtrise de Salesforce, un atout

LexisNexis, a leading global provider of content-enabled workflow solutions, seeks a Sales Development Representative in Canada.

You require a proven track record of working successfully in a challenging and commercially driven sales culture. Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, you will create and secure qualified business opportunities to generate new revenue within LexisNexis.

Accountabilities

  • Work closely with sales and marketing partners to schedule qualified demonstrations, meetings, build pipeline, and produce real business opportunities in accordance with approved sales management guidelines.
  • Prospect for new business through a high volume of cold calling and following up with prospects as previously identified.
  • Identify qualified prospects and navigate company structures to identify key decision makers and influencers.
  • Conducts research on prospects by utilizing directories, agency websites, other websites and internal / external databases
  • Keep accurate records in our CRM and build client profiles by updating client information and managing sensitive client and prospect data.
  • Learn, understand, and apply the LexisNexis value proposition and our world-class business processes. Master all phases of our training and development program
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in both French & English (written and spoken)
  • Lead generation / inside sales experience
  • Experience with high cold calling volume (50+ outbound / day)
  • Great listener, quick thinker, and the ability to work independently and within a team
  • Bachelor’s degree / College Diploma
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong detail orientation with the ability to follow defined processes
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.)
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus
