Accountabilities and Detailed Activity : Equipment Routine Maintenance Build, design, assemble, and debug new equipment. Maintain the mechanical and electrical components in a food processing component assembly line, build, machine, and debug new equipment for future business.
Electrical systems installation. Pneumatic, Hydraulic and systems maintenance. Operation of Tool Room Equipment (I.E. Lathes, Grinders, Welding & Fabricating, Bridgeport Drill Press, torches Etc.
Troubleshooting & Repair Perform preventative maintenance. Troubleshoot electrical systems. Control systems troubleshooting (PLC).
Paperwork & Documentation Management Record and document all repairs / modifications on internal Work Order system. Safety Protocol & Compliance Operate in a safe manner, ensure equipment is in safe working order.
Ensure machines are safety compliant (i.e. : guards in working order). Competencies : Communication Skills Analytical Abilities & Problem Solving Accuracy and Attention to Detail Following Maintenance Manuals Machinery & Technical Expertise Troubleshooting Process Improvements Minimum Requirements : Education and / or Professional Designation : At least 1 year Experience in Assembly, Manufacturing and Equipment Maintenance.
Experience : Mechanical repair experience is a must. Ability to Read and Interpret Blueprints and Electrical Schematics.
Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude. Control system experience is a plus. Experience in a meat processing environment is an asset.
Language Skills : Ability to communicate effectively and professionally. Fluent in English. Technical Skills : Ability to lift at least 50 Pounds.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures. Soft Skills : Analytical decision making.
