Robert Half is looking for a Level 2 Desk Side Support Analyst to start immediately for their client. This long-term contract / contract / temporary to permanent employment opportunity is based in the Toronto, Ontario area. This is the perfect job for you if you want work where you will spend most of your time handling complex end-user support issues and providing support to team members by focusing on restoring service to the end users. What you get to do every day

  • Maintain hardware and peripherals : Responsible for upgrading and replacing computer parts; handle documentation and asset inventory
  • Meet and exceed SLA standards : Close tickets in a timely manner, while upholding customer service standards
  • Provide guidance to Tier 1 support and team members
  • Understand and utilize ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, etc.) and how they are used in a corporate environment
  • The ideal candidate for this job is able to facilitate user account management by handling onboarding, change and departure processes
  • Troubleshoot end user issues : Provide root-cause analysis on various web and mobile applications; handle escalated tickets relating to server / network related issues

Job Requirements :

  • Strong experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 related issues
  • Hardware Troubleshooting experience highly desired
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows
  • Microsoft Teams experience preferred
  • Deep understanding of Active Directory
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request
  • Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well
  • Can work independently with minimal supervision
  • 5+ years of experience supporting desktop / server operating systems and technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, Exchange and VMware
  • Experience working with Azure Cloud
  • Experience troubleshooting AV related issues
