Due to growth, they are adding 2 new Metering Technicians to their team.

What you’ll be doing in the role :

• Provide technical services in the areas of metering of energy management services
• Installation, testing and commissioning of metering systems
• Complete regular cross-phase testing and auditing
• Experience with communication systems
• Ensure safe work procedures are followed at all times
• Maintain client communications, safety and work documentation
• Ensure reporting requirements of federal, provincial and local regulations are met
• Understanding of EUSA Safety Rules, Occupational Health & Safety Act, ESA Ontario Reg. 22 / 04, Utility Work Protection Code and all other applicable legislation

What you bring to the role :

• Post-secondary school education such as Electrical Engineering Technology
• A Journeyperson (2nd / 3rd year Apprentices will be considered)
• 2 or more years’ experience troubleshooting electrical circuits with the aid of drawings, prints and analytics
• Analytical with strong problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
• Valid G class driver’s license and clear driving abstract
• Strong computer skills including MS Office. Experience with PowerMaster software test equipment is an asset
• Motivated and independent with an ability to work with minimal supervision
• Physically capable of sitting, standing, climbing, lifting weights of various types throughout the day
• Ability to travel throughout Ontario which can include overnights (paid by company)
