Responsibilities :

Proactively manage a dedicated caseload in compliance with specificservice level agreements and targeted turnaroundtimes.

Act on dailyadministrative tasks which include responding to emails andtelephone calls in a timelymanner.

Assess claims based oncontractual medical and vocationalbarriers.

Develop strongrelationships through frequent collaboration with plan sponsorsplan members treatment providers and internal partners (i.

e.disability specialists rehabilitation specialists and medicalconsultants) to drive cases to successful returntowork or jobreadyresolution.

Write letters tocommunicate pertinent benefitrelated information based onanalytical reasoning.

Demonstrateresiliency empathy and compassion when listening to andcommunicating with plan members which may involve deliveringdifficult claimsrelateddecisions.

Whatyou will need tosucceed :

Bachelors degree in a healthrelated program or equivalent would bean asset.

Background in ahealthrelated field would be anasset.

Knowledge of disabilitymanagement and / or group benefits would be anasset.

Professional experiencerequired. Experience in disability management would be anasset.

Bilingual (oral andwritten) in French and Englishrequired.

Ability to makedifficult decisions within tightdeadlines.

Comfortable withinbound and outbound calls.

Strong organizational and prioritization skills are necessary tomanage varioustasks.
