We're looking for a dynamic and strategic Business Development Specialist to join our team and play a key role supporting regional business development teams, driving growth across our regional offices. You’ll be a trusted advisor and catalyst for innovation—equipping our business development teams with the tools, training, and strategies needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving marketplace.
Job Responsibilities
As a member of the team, you’ll work cross-functionally to strengthen our national BD framework and enable long-term success. Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic Collaboration – Build strong relationships with leaders and regional teams, acting as a trusted liaison to align local actions with national goals.
- Sales Enablement – Support the design and rollout of sales playbooks, processes, and tools that enhance sales effectiveness, increase broker engagement, and support profitable growth.
- Performance Insights – Support the development and implementation of advanced Excel-based reporting tools and dashboards that streamline data analysis, enhance decision-making, and drive business performance.
- Enterprise Impact – Bring your business development expertise to large-scale corporate initiatives and strategic projects, helping to shape the future of the organization.
Qualifications
- A passion for strategic growth and relationship building
- Proven experience in business development within the insurance or financial services sector
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of Excel, with a strong command of advanced functionalities
- Experience in commercial underwriting, leading sales enablement or performance improvement initiatives, Power BI or Salesforce is a preferred
