Welder - Ganawa

Ganawa is a full service steel fabricator and supplier for bridge and structural steel market projects. Specializing in bridge expansion joints and railing systems the welder / fitter must be qualified in steel works.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow and read detailed blueprints and diagrams to complete welding processes
• Ensure fit-up for welding (Cut, drill, bevel, grind)
• Welding Part Prep (Layout, position, align and assemble)
• Welding Prep (Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, bolt parts)
• Operate Power tools such as grinding wheel and die grinder
• Examine and assess work pieces for defects using measuring tool and jigs
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Work sites can be mobile welding and / or in shop location

Potential annual bonus of up to 15% gross salary at employers discretion
