Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Test Lead to manage a team of x3 Test Analysts to design, coordinate, and oversee testing activities for a large scale and complex implementation and upgrade of ORACLE UTILITIES Customer Care & Billing (CCB) and Meter Data Management (MDM).
The work will be located in Edmonton AB and you must be willing to work on-site minimum 3 days per week. If you do not live in Edmonton, travel expenses will be covered, however, you must be willing to commit to the weekly travel.
We are able to consider either subcontractors OR individuals interested in permanent employment with Sia Partners.
If you are interested in the employee option, you must ALREADY BE LEGALLY ELIGIBLE to work in Canada, holding either Permanent Residency or full Citizenship status.
We are not able to offer visa sponsorship or relocation expenses at this time.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provide oversight, review, and final approval for the project test strategy for the project.
- Provide oversight on overall test scenarios, test cases and test steps with client SMEs for testing scope.
- Manage a team conducting SIT, E2E and UAT test cases for the overall project. The vendor partner will own Unit and System Testing for the CCS application development and configuration.
- Establish and engage employees, vendor, and contract resources to ensure test strategies are communicated and understood.
- Provide ongoing leadership and management throughout lifecycle of the program and define roles and responsibilities for all test team members to ensure clarity and accountability.
- Provide ongoing leadership and management of testing resources throughout the lifecycle of the project. You will be managing at least 3 Test-Analyst resources.
- Accountable to ensure complete documentation and tracking takes place throughout all phases of testing.
- Provide oversight to ensure the entry and exit criteria for each test phase is met.
- Sign off on test phase exit as part of the deliverable / milestone acceptance management process.
- As a part of the project governance processes, communicate progress, issues, risks and priorities. Escalate issues / risks as it relates to testing.
- Work with the System Integrator(s) to deploy test automation tools (if required).
- Engage in the development, design, and implementation of test automation for the project (if required).
- Prepare for and execute plans to deploy test automation capability, processes and standards across the organization where appropriate (if required).
- Ensure that the team follows the testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology as specified in the testing strategy.
Qualifications
- You MUST HAVE at least 8-10 years experience in software testing with at least 2-3 years experience in a Test Lead role.
- You MUST HAVE at least one significant ORACLE Customer Care & Billing (CCB) project under your belt ideally in Oracle Utilities Customer Cloud Services (CCS).
- You MUST HAVE experience working with Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) and have worked on projects implementing customer, metering, and billing solutions.
- Experience with Jira is a MUST HAVE
- Certifications for ORACLE UTILITIES CC&B & / or CCS is definitely preferred.
- ISTQB certification will be seen as an asset.
- Strong communication : both verbal and written / documentation skills.
- Proven ability to work within a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
