Join Air Canada as a Delay Performance Processor / Gestionnaire principal - Gestion des risques de l'entreprise . Your work will ensure the Air Passenger Protection regulations (APPR) compliance of the entire Air Canada network, and align them with the relevant legal framework.
As the Delay Performance Processor, you will serve as the day‑of subject‑matter expert in APPR and the delay coding process, driving improvements and ensuring precision and accuracy of delay coding. Your responsibilities include ensuring accurate delay coding across the Air Canada network, identifying trends, and providing recommendations on corrective action to enhance the accuracy and compliance of APPR and delay codes.
Qualifications
- Post‑secondary degree or diploma; aviation studies considered an asset.
- 2+ years of airline operations or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to changing operational situations, make decisions, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple tasks / initiatives, prioritizing, and making effective decisions.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications : Excel, SharePoint.
- Proven problem‑solving skills within a team environment.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
- Available to work a flexible schedule that includes days, evenings, statutory holidays, weekends, and overnight shifts.
- Knowledge of airline applications such as Netline Ops, Netline Crew, TRAX, WSI Fusion, LIDO, Flight Briefer, Communicator, SmartLoad, SmartSuite, Aircom, and APPR principals and guidelines.
- Knowledge of IATA coding methodology and delay coding methodologies.
- Demonstrated punctuality and dependability in a fast‑paced environment.
