QA Technician
This position will begin as a hybrid QA technician and RTE / Rollstock packaging, with the position expanding towards QA as the need arises.

Duties & Responsibilities :
- Routine monitoring and data collection to support FSQA objectives
- Performing Warner-Bratzler shear force testing and image analysis for VG Meats' tenderness testing program
- Performing chemical concentration testing
- Other duties as assigned
- Maintaining carcass traceability system
- Organize, weigh, package, label products, and fulfil orders.
- Prepare skids and outgoing orders in preparation for deliveries and error-free shipments.
- Feed and unload processing machines and assist machine operators with their duties.
Requirements / Qualifications :
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Preference will be given to those with at least a college degree in food technology or a similar field.
- Previous experience is an asset but does not required
- Alignment with VG Meats' values, mission, and organizational strategy
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work and move in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Able to manage time effectively
- Ability to take direction
- Ability to work in cold conditions
