Title : Performance Test Engineer

Location : Toronto ,Ontario

Duration : 6 Months

Introduction

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Performance Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves working with cutting-edge AWS technologies and performance testing tools to ensure the optimal performance of our applications and services.

Required Skills & Qualifications

6-8 years of experience in performance testing.
Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or other specialized AWS performance testing tools.
Experience in designing, developing, and executing comprehensive performance test plans and strategies for AWS-based applications.
Strong analytical skills for identifying bottlenecks and performance regressions.
Understanding of AWS-specific performance considerations, including auto-scaling and serverless architectures.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and API Gateway.

Knowledge of performance optimization for cost-effectiveness.

Experience generating detailed reports and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Utilize performance testing tools to create and execute test scripts for various AWS services.

Conduct different types of performance tests, including load, stress, scalability, and endurance tests.

Monitor the performance of AWS resources and application components during test execution.

Analyze performance test results and identify potential issues within the AWS environment or application code.
