As a Business Software Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Automate and Power Apps.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate
- Build and support custom business applications using Power Apps
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, secure solutions
- Provide ongoing support for production processes, identifying fixes or workarounds for defects
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices
- Help establish governance for the Automation Solutions team
- Build relationships with colleagues to facilitate cooperation among peers and within the team
- Stay current with Power Platform updates and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in collaborative engagements to recommend and implement enhancements to existing solutions
What you will bring
2+ years of experience developing solutions with Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps)Post‑secondary education in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experienceStrong understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.)Experience with Dataverse, connectors, and data integrationExperience with database systems (e.g., DB2) and data access methods (e.g., SQL, ETL, API)Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environmentStrong problem‑solving and communication skillsStrong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness of work to maximize quality and avoid re‑workExperience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is an assetMicrosoft Power Platform certificationsExperience with other automation tools (e.g., Logic Apps, UI flows)Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, PowerShell, VBA)Experience with governance and security best practices in Power PlatformExposure to cloud environments such as AzureA strong desire to learn and apply new technologies within the Power Platform ecosystemThe ability to contribute to the success of the Automated Solutions team through influence, collaboration, and accountabilityA passion for improving business processes through automation and innovationAs this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism is an asset (fluent in French and English) but is required for Quebec only as the position will regularly serve our clients with French and English‑speaking needsReliability Status Security Clearance – this can only be completed with candidates who receive an offer of employment. The base salary for this position is between $59,800 – $99,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not include other variable compensation components such as annual bonus or commission.
