You are not just dispatching. You control the day-to-day operation: how jobs run, how crews stay on time, and how the business executes in real time. This is where moves get done, and where money is made or lost.

What you'll do
- Build the daily schedule, assign crews and trucks, and get every job started on time
- Track crews through the day, handle calls, and solve problems in real time
- Be the main point of contact for customers on move day: late starts, jobs that run long, no-shows
- Close out jobs and collect payment, so every job is paid before the crew leaves
- Keep crews on standard: on time, paperwork done, payment collected
- Help onboard and train new movers on how we run a job
- Keep trucks maintained, clean, compliant and ready to go
- Manage inventory, materials, equipment and the warehouse, prepped for the next day
- Own long-distance and out-of-town jobs from departure to completion
- Send a daily update to the owner and run the weekly operations meeting
What a day looks like
- In by 6:30 AM, before the crews arrive
- Dispatch the trucks and get every job moving on time
- Track crews, take calls and solve problems all day
- Prepare crews, trucks and materials for tomorrow
- Close out jobs, payments and records, and lock in the day before you leave
Hours
Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM until the operation is closed out, plus about 4 hours on Saturday morning. Sunday off. Your phone stays on after hours: if a truck breaks down or a long-distance job hits a problem at 9 PM, you are the person who gets the call. We are telling you this upfront so you go in with clear eyes.
Pay
- $55,000-$65,000 a year in total, salary plus performance bonus
- Performance bonus paid quarterly, starting after the 90-day probation
- Paid every two weeks by direct deposit
Who this is for

- Reliable transportation to our south-side office for a 6:30 AM start
- A full driver's licence with a clean driving record: you will drive our trucks, so our insurance company has to approve you from your driver's abstract
Dispatch, logistics, trucking, warehouse or team-lead experience is a big plus. If you need something easy or low effort, this is not it.
