Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Analyst with 8+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, and technology delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform and object model, experience with wealth or asset management applications, and expertise in requirements gathering, data analysis, system integration, and end-to-end testing.

The candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, system architects, and delivery partners to translate business requirements into effective technology solutions while ensuring data quality, operational efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to understand business objectives and define appropriate technology solutions.

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, business process analysis, and user stories.

• Work with system architects, developers, and delivery teams to analyze solution designs and ensure alignment with business requirements.

• Analyze source and target system requirements and define data mappings according to enterprise data standards.

• Document integration requirements, business process flows, database requirements, process mappings, and API endpoint mappings.

• Analyze Salesforce CRM functionality, platform architecture, and object models to support business and technical requirements.

• Support Salesforce and wealth or asset management application analysis and development initiatives.

• Write and execute PL/SQL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, reconciliation, and test data preparation.

• Provide production support for back-office systems, investigate application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate issue resolution.

• Identify data quality gaps, unusual data patterns, and data cleansing requirements, and recommend corrective actions.

• Prepare high-level design documents, system interaction specifications, integration documentation, and end-to-end data flow diagrams.

• Develop test plans, validate test results, support defect resolution, and ensure solutions meet business requirements.

• Maintain project documentation and support Agile delivery activities using Jira and Confluence.

• Ensure that solutions align with enterprise standards, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, and technology delivery.

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM, including knowledge of the Salesforce platform and object model.

• Experience analyzing Salesforce applications and supporting wealth or asset management systems.

• Strong skills in requirements gathering, business process analysis, user story development, and requirements management.

• Experience with SQL/PL-SQL queries, data analysis, data validation, and troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of data mapping, API integrations, database requirements, and system interfaces.

• Experience with solution design support, test planning, end-to-end testing, and defect management.

• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies, Jira, Confluence, and technology delivery best practices.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional partners.

• Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Management Information Systems, Commerce, Business Analysis, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• CMA or MBA qualification is an asset.

• Experience in financial services, banking, wealth management, or asset management.

• Familiarity with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and enterprise data governance practices.

• Experience supporting business-critical applications and production operations.
