Health and Safety Manager (ECC) Open Collapsible Content
Edmonton Convention Centre
For more than 40 years, the Edmonton Convention Centre (ECC) has been one of the places where Edmonton comes together. Built into the North Saskatchewan River valley in the heart of downtown, ECC is the city’s largest gathering space and home to an ever-changing calendar of conventions, conferences, festivals, concerts, and community celebrations. On any given day, that can mean welcoming thousands of anime fans for Animethon, preparing a concert hall for artists like The Trews and Shawn Desman, hosting wildlife professionals from around the world, or serving innovative cuisine and creating unforgettable experiences for guests from across the city and around the world.
Making all of that possible is a highly skilled team with expertise in every part of the venue. Award-winning chefs, event professionals, building operators, guest experience and security teams, sales professionals and many others work behind the scenes and on the front lines to bring each event to life. Their talent, care, and attention to detail help make ECC a leading destination and shape how people experience Edmonton.
In 2025, ECC hosted 345 events, welcomed more than 302,000 guests and generated $58 million in total economic impact for Edmonton. Working here means seeing the impact of your work unfold around you while helping support local businesses, hospitality jobs, Edmonton’s visitor economy, and the experiences that make this city a great place to visit and to call home.
