Messaging Consultant

Role : MQ Developer  Location : Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Duration : Long Term Summary : Responsible for managing, configuring, and supporting IBM MQ environments to ensure secure and reliable message communication between applications. Key Responsibilities :

• Install, configure, and maintain IBM MQ.
• Monitor queues, channels, and message flows.
• Troubleshoot MQ-related issues and ensure high availability.
• Perform MQ security setup and access management.
• Handle performance tuning, patches, and upgrades.
• Coordinate with application teams for deployments and integration support.
• Ensure backup, recovery, and disaster recovery readiness. Skills Required :
• Good understanding of IBM MQ architecture.
• Experience with MQ objects (queues, channels, listeners).
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Shell / PowerShell).
• Familiarity with Linux / Unix or Windows environments.
