Your responsibilities:
- Leading the development, maintenance, and review of complex financial models for purposes of managing and reporting on infrastructure companies and funds;
- Conducting detailed asset- and fund-level performance analysis, scenario modelling, and investment sensitivities, and translating findings into clear recommendations for senior team members;
- Monitoring financial and operational performance against investment cases, budgets, and strategic plans, and identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities;
- Preparing and reviewing materials for internal committees, portfolio company boards, investors, co-investors, and other stakeholders;
- Coordinating asset onboarding, portfolio information, investment updates, and reporting databases, while helping enhance the team's processes and analytical tools;
- Supporting and, where appropriate, leading workstreams related to value creation initiatives, refinancings, add-on acquisitions, capital projects, and divestitures;
- Leading components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual valuation processes, including valuation analyses and coordination with external valuation providers and auditors;
- Supporting investor relations and fundraising activities, including drafting responses to current and prospective investor questions and preparing portfolio-related materials;
- Providing guidance and review support to junior team members and contributing to a collaborative, high-performance team environment; and
- Leading or supporting special projects and strategic initiatives as they arise.
Must have requirements to be successful in this role:
- Undergraduate degree with outstanding academic achievement; a focus in business, finance, or engineering is preferred.
- Three to five years of relevant experience in infrastructure investing, private equity, investment banking, pension investing, transaction advisory, valuations, or management consulting.
- Demonstrated experience evaluating or managing investments, with exposure to infrastructure, energy, transportation, utilities, telecommunications, or other real asset sectors preferred.
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills, including experience building, reviewing, and interpreting detailed valuation, operating, and cash flow models.
- Sound commercial judgement and the ability to synthesize complex financial, operational, and strategic information into clear conclusions and recommendations.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- A high level of ownership, attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and problem-solving capability.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
