Job Summary

Innova Software Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Lead Front End Engineer to design, develop, and scale modern, high-performance eCommerce applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in JavaScript, React, Redux, Node.js, Next.js, Shopify, GraphQL, and modern frontend architecture, along with experience building scalable eCommerce solutions.

This role combines hands-on development, architectural leadership, performance optimization, and technical mentorship. The successful candidate will work closely with product managers, architects, backend engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, user-friendly digital commerce experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development and Architecture

• Lead the design and development of scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications.

• Develop modern frontend applications using React, Redux, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Design and implement reusable components and maintainable frontend architecture.

• Contribute to eCommerce application architecture across frontend and backend technologies.

• Develop and integrate applications using Next.js, Shopify, GraphQL, and APIs.

• Collaborate with backend teams to ensure seamless application integration.

• Provide architectural direction for technical roadmap initiatives.

eCommerce Engineering and Optimization

• Design and optimize digital commerce experiences for performance, scalability, and usability.

• Improve page load times, application responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.

• Support conversion rate optimization initiatives and A/B testing.

• Work with analytics tools to evaluate and improve customer experiences.

• Identify and resolve frontend performance bottlenecks.

Technical Leadership and Collaboration

• Collaborate with product managers, solution architects, designers, and engineering teams.

• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Guide technical decisions aligned with business priorities and long-term architecture goals.

• Mentor developers and provide technical guidance.

• Participate in architecture discussions, technical reviews, and engineering best practices.

• Support collaborative problem-solving and constructive resolution of technical disagreements.

Engineering Practices

• Work with modern frontend development tools, including Webpack and Babel.

• Support API development and integration.

• Apply best practices for application maintainability and performance.

• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.

• Work with relational and NoSQL database technologies as required.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional web development experience.

• 8+ years of experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• 3+ years of experience with React, Redux, and Node.js.

• Strong architectural experience building and scaling eCommerce applications.

• Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript ES6+.

• Experience with Next.js, Shopify, GraphQL, and API development or integration.

• Strong understanding of frontend and backend application architecture.

• Experience with modern frontend tooling such as Webpack and Babel.

• Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.

• Experience optimizing web performance across browsers and devices.

• Understanding of conversion optimization, A/B testing, and eCommerce analytics.

• Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and mentor developers.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale eCommerce applications.

• Experience with modern frontend performance optimization practices.
