Job Duties: What does a day in the life of a caregiver look like? Providing a helping hand.

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

• Support mobility and safe transfers according to the care plan.

• Provide companionship, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.

• Follow care plans, document visits, and report changes or concerns.

• Communicate respectfully with clients, families, and the care team.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Health Care Assistant program or equivalent recognized training.

• Ability to communicate effectively in Cantonese and in English for care-team communication and documentation.

• Current First Aid and CPR certification.

• Reliable, patient, and respectful of client privacy.

• Willingness to complete required background screening.

• Experience supporting seniors or people living with dementia is an asset.
