Senior Analyst, Portfolio and Asset Management

What will you do?

Below are some of the primary responsibilities you will be taking on in this role:

• Be involved in project analysis, asset management and other investment and portfolio initiatives.
• Support the process for updating quarterly IFRS asset valuations for the investment portfolio and annual 3rd party appraisals.
• Participate in operational update meetings, track operational activities, and conduct industry research.
• Act as an information and analysis resource to all levels of the organization, including senior management and senior accounting personnel.
• Co-ordinate with partners on investments, analyze pro formas relating to income properties and development projects and perform variance analysis as needed.
• Track/monitor investment performance and prepare reporting materials for management.
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly board meeting materials, investor presentations, analysis related to the corporate model and the annual business plan.

What type of experience should you have?

These are some of the things we would like you to bring to the table:

• 2-4 years of applicable work experience: asset management, valuations, corporate finance/transaction advisory, or financial analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or real estate. Enrolled in or completed the following programs is considered a plus (CFA/CBV/CPA).
• Strong technical skills with a focus on financial analysis and data manipulation using Excel.
• An assertive self-starter with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and organization is required.
• Superior interpersonal and oral/ written communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
