Job descriptionValid crane operator certification / license is a must. Proven experience operating over head crane. Strong understanding of safety regulations related to crane operation. Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness skills. Strong communication skills for effective teamwork on-site. Physical stamina to perform duties that may involve standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed. Monday to Friday Overhead Crane Operator : 1 year (preferred) Over Head Crane Operator (required)
We are hiring licensed over head crane operators for our manufacturing client in Vaughan, ON. The role requires a strong understanding of crane operations, safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members on-site.
Duties
- Operate cranes to lift, move, and position loads as required by project specifications.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on cranes to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment.
- Communicate effectively with ground personnel using hand signals or radio communication.
- Perform routine maintenance on cranes to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of crane operations and any incidents that occur during operation.
- Assist in rigging loads and ensuring proper balance before lifting.
- Participate in safety meetings and training sessions as required.
