Quantum Lifecycle Partners LP is Canada's largest and most important integrated computer asset disposal and recycling processor. Title: Specialist, Learning & Organizational Development

Location: Brampton - L6T 5E6 (Hybrid, may also be based from our North York or Richmond Hill locations)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Specialist, Learning & Organizational Development supports the design, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of employee development, leadership training, engagement, onboarding, and organizational effectiveness initiatives across Quantum. This role also supports the rollout and governance of core training developed in partnership with the Compliance team, including tracking, reporting, and maintaining accurate learning records. Working closely with HR, Compliance, site leaders, managers, and external training partners, the Specialist helps coordinate learning priorities, support consistent program delivery, and ensure training records and reporting are accurate and current.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Learning & Development

  • Coordinate and administer employee training and development programs.
  • Lead the execution of the Quantum Learning Series
  • Lead and administer Quantum’s Professional Development Program including Coaching Program
  • Support annual learning and development plans.
  • Collaborate with managers and HR colleagues to identify training needs and recommend practical learning solutions.
  • Develop and update internal training materials, resources, and program content to support employee, manager, and leadership development.
  • Support tracking of participation, completion rates, and training effectiveness.
  • Support the maintenance of training records and reporting.
  • Lead the launch of the Rippling LMS and move existing training records from SharePoint and Excel trackers into it.
  • Support onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Coordinate the rollout, scheduling and tracking of core training across all sites with the Compliance team.
  • Develop programs to build and engage our departmental training requirements.

Leadership and Organizational Development

  • Coordinate leadership development programs.
  • Develop leadership resources and toolkits.
  • Support manager capability initiatives.
  • Support employee engagement surveys and action planning.
  • Support performance management programs, resources, communications, and process improvements.

Talent Development

  • Support career development and internal mobility initiatives.
  • Support succession planning and high-potential talent development initiatives.

HR Projects & Analytics

  • Track and report on training and engagement metrics.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, dashboards, and learning updates for HR and leadership review.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary education in HR, Organizational Development, Adult Education, Business, Psychology or related discipline.
  • CHRP or CTDP designation or working toward designation is an asset.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, HR, Organizational Development or a related field.
  • Experience coordinating training and employee development programs.
  • Experience with instructional design and adult learning principles.
  • Experience with an LMS or HRIS. Rippling experience is an asset.
  • Experience supporting training in a manufacturing, industrial or multi-site environment is an asset.

Key competencies for this role include strong facilitation and communication skills, confidence working with managers and employees at all levels, sound judgment, project coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to translate learning needs into practical programs and resources.

The successful candidate should be comfortable using HR systems, LMS platforms, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools to coordinate programs, maintain accurate learning records, and prepare clear updates for leaders.

This role may require occasional travel to Quantum sites and flexibility to support learning initiatives across multiple locations and employee groups.
