Job Description: We are seeking an experienced .NET Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, REST APIs, and SQL Server. The ideal candidate must have experience in the Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance (BFSI) domain, along with a strong understanding of enterprise application development, microservices, application security, and CI/CD practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web and enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, and .NET Core.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queries.
  • Design, develop, and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and development best practices.
  • Mentor junior developers and support technical knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure application security, performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Identify, analyze, and remediate application vulnerabilities reported by security scanning tools.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release activities.

Required Technical Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in software development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET Framework / .NET Core / .NET 6+.
  • Experience with ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Core.
  • Strong experience in REST API development and integration.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, stored procedures, and query optimization.
  • Experience with Entity Framework.
  • Familiarity with Git and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Working experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Mandatory domain experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance (BFSI).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Logic Apps.
  • Knowledge of application performance tuning and optimization.
  • Understanding of application security, vulnerability assessment, and remediation.
  • Experience with enterprise application deployment and production support.

Candidate Requirements

  • Must be available to work onsite in Toronto, Ontario.
  • Must have relevant banking or financial services domain experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
