Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced EngageOne Software Developer Consultant with strong expertise in OpenText EngageOne, Unitrax, document composition, statement generation, and production document processing. The candidate will support business-critical customer communications, statements, tax documents, digital document modernization, accessibility initiatives, and production operations within a financial services environment.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with document generation workflows, production processing, troubleshooting, testing, deployments, and operational support.

Must-Have Technical Skills

• 10+ years of overall software development / production support experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with OpenText EngageOne document composition and production processing.
• Experience with statement generation, tax documents, customer communications, and document delivery platforms.
• Experience with Unitrax statement processing or similar financial document-processing platforms.
• Strong knowledge of PDF, AFP, file transfers, batch processing, and production document workflows.
• Experience supporting large-scale production statement runs and output validation.
• Experience with accessibility compliance, accessibility testing, and document certification.
• Strong troubleshooting and production incident management experience.
• Experience with deployment, release, change management, and production readiness activities.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with technical, business, QA, infrastructure, and operations teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Wealth Management, Insurance, Banking, or Financial Services environments.
• Exposure to digital tax slip initiatives.
• Experience with document modernization and electronic document delivery.
• Experience supporting large-scale Customer Communications Management (CCM) platforms.
• Experience working with ETL, QA, infrastructure, accessibility testing, and business operations teams.
• Experience with automation and operational process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support OpenText EngageOne and Unitrax document generation solutions for statements, tax slips, and customer communications.
• Execute and monitor end-to-end statement production, including:
  • PDF generation
  • AFP creation
  • File transfers
  • Document distribution
  • Output validation
• Support digital document modernization initiatives, including electronic delivery, document formatting, accessibility compliance, and tax slip enhancements.
• Collaborate with ETL, QA, Accessibility Testing, Infrastructure, and Business Operations teams.
• Troubleshoot document-processing, batch-processing, file-transfer, and production issues.
• Provide timely production incident resolution and root-cause analysis.
• Support regression testing, accessibility certification, QA reviews, and production readiness activities.
• Coordinate change management, deployments, releases, and emergency production fixes.
• Monitor production statement runs and ensure successful document generation and delivery.
• Create and maintain operational and technical documentation.
• Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions and provide guidance on document generation and processing workflows.
• Identify opportunities for automation and operational process improvements.
• Support business-critical document production and customer communication platforms.

Ideal Candidate Profile::

The ideal candidate should be a senior EngageOne / document composition professional who has worked hands-on with OpenText EngageOne and/or Unitrax in a production environment, preferably within Banking, Wealth Management, Insurance, or Financial Services.

The candidate should have strong experience across document generation statement processing PDF/AFP output file transfer distribution validation production support, rather than being only a general software developer.
