Role Overview

As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will serve as a senior technical lead on our most strategic and complex customer engagements. You will architect scalable search solutions, drive implementation of Generative AI capabilities, and act as a technical mentor to other engineers. This role requires deep enterprise search expertise and the ability to operate cross-functionally with customers, engineering, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture Leadership:

• Serve as the technical lead across high-impact enterprise search deployments.

• Architect secure, scalable solutions that include custom data pipelines and GenAI assistants.

• Define integration strategy across multiple enterprise systems and business units.

• Lead enterprise-level workshops and technical roadmap planning.

Advanced Technical Implementation:

• Customize and extend the Sinequa platform using modern web and backend technologies.

• Build connectors, REST API interfaces, and workflow automation to enhance platform extensibility.

• Optimize ingestion pipelines, relevance scoring, and contextual search experiences.

• Configure vector-based retrieval, RAG workflows, and prompt engineering frameworks.

Client Strategy and Engagement:

• Guide customers through long-term success plans and advanced use case discovery.

• Present at executive and technical stakeholder meetings with clear business impact narratives.

• Conduct advanced-level training, enablement, and architectural reviews.

Collaboration and Leadership:

• Act as a mentor to other engineers; provide technical guidance and code reviews.

• Collaborate with pre-sales, product, and engineering to shape future platform enhancements.

• Contribute reusable code modules and documentation for internal and customer use.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).

• Experience implementing enterprise search platforms.

• 8+ years of experience in technical consulting, professional services, or a customer-facing engineering role.

• Strong programming background (Python, Java, C#, etc.).

• Advanced frontend development expertise with Angular, TypeScript, or React.

• Deep experience with REST APIs, identity management, and enterprise-grade security.

• Proven ability to lead multi-phase deployments and cross-functional customer teams.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud infrastructure tools.

• Strong communication skills and experience interfacing with executive stakeholders.

Bonus Points

• Experience in AI-powered search (LLM, RAG, embedding generation, relevance tuning).

• Knowledge of knowledge graph or ontology-driven search systems.

• Hands-on work with containerized deployments (Kubernetes, Docker).

• Familiarity with enterprise compliance and data governance in regulated environments.

Compensation

The annual compensation for this role ranges from $130,000 to $170,000 base, depending on experience.
