Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business System Configuration Analyst (SAP) to join the Corporate Platforms team. The successful candidate will work closely with business sponsors, stakeholders, Delivery Leads, Systems Architects, developers, and technology partners to design, configure, implement, and support enterprise financial systems.

The role will primarily focus on SAP ECC 6.0 EHP8 Finance modules, including FI, AP, AR, CO, and MM, along with SAP Concur. Strong experience in SAP configuration, systems analysis, enterprise integration, and SAP ECC to S/4HANA transformation is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP ECC 6.0 EHP8 Finance modules, including FI, AP, AR, CO, and MM.
• Support SAP Concur modules including Expense, Request, and Reporting.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand objectives, requirements, industry trends, and reporting needs.
• Define detailed system requirements that support scalable, flexible, maintainable, and high-volume production environments.
• Analyze and conceptualize solution designs in collaboration with Systems Architects, vendors, developers, and business partners.
• Provide technology recommendations and translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Analyze alternative technical solutions and collaborate with development teams on design, testing, debugging, and implementation.
• Support large-scale ERP programs involving multiple business areas and internal/external technology providers.
• Provide operational and sustainment support for financial systems.
• Develop knowledge-sharing documentation and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
• Manage cross-functional issues, conflicts, escalations, and implementation risks.
• Support Agile delivery and integration initiatives involving diverse technologies and platforms.

SAP S/4HANA Transformation Responsibilities

• Support SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives, including system conversion and selective transformation planning.
• Assess business process impacts and downstream integration dependencies.
• Support finance master data and transactional data readiness activities.
• Assess custom code, interfaces, integrations, and system dependencies.
• Participate in testing, defect triage, cutover preparation, release coordination, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Evaluate Universal Journal impacts and other SAP Finance transformation considerations.
• Support change readiness and solution design decisions throughout ERP modernization programs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on SAP configuration and systems analysis experience.
• Strong expertise in SAP ECC Finance, particularly FI, AP, AR, CO, and MM.
• Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 EHP8 environments.
• Strong experience supporting enterprise-scale SAP implementations and sustainment activities.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of S/4HANA Finance concepts, including Universal Journal, data readiness, custom code assessment, and integration dependencies.
• Experience with solution design, application systems architecture, integration, troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with developers, architects, vendors, business stakeholders, and technology partners.
• Strong understanding of Agile development and enterprise technology integration.
• Experience with testing, defect management, implementation, release, and cutover activities.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Post-secondary education in a related discipline.

• Experience in Wealth Management or Financial Services.
• Experience with SAP Concur.
• Knowledge of SWIFT.
• Experience with SAP Fiori and embedded analytics.
• Knowledge of modern SAP reporting capabilities.
• Experience with AI, intelligent automation, or advanced analytics applied to finance systems.
• Experience with financial close optimization, anomaly detection, forecasting, reconciliation, or workflow automation.
• Canadian accounting knowledge or professional accounting designation.
