Project Manager

Our client, a well-established commercial construction firm, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Edmonton team. This is an opportunity to take full ownership of commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout, working alongside a collaborative group that values initiative and accountability.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of commercial construction projects, managing budgets, schedules, and teams while acting as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and trades. You will be trusted to drive projects forward and keep every stakeholder aligned from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial construction projects end to end, from preconstruction planning through final closeout.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cash flow projections.
- Lead procurement, subcontractor buyout, and contract administration.
- Oversee change management, RFIs, submittals, and progress billings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners.
- Coordinate closely with site supervision to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
- Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
What You Bring
- Previous experience in commercial construction is required.
- Proven track record managing commercial projects through the full lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, or a related field is an asset.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates with strong trades experience may be considered, though direct commercial project management experience is preferred.
