Your Role in Our Journey:
The Event Manager brings a high level of strategic thinking, experience, and leadership to event planning, and is responsible for the full event lifecycle. Reporting to the Team Lead, Events, this role is responsible for owning events (in-person, hybrid and virtual) from concept to completion, including debrief and post-reporting stages. The Event Manager is expected to lead event design, offer strategic solutions and continuously identify areas for improvement and innovation. Your work will directly support our clients' goals, creating meaningful, engaging experiences for attendees and stakeholders alike.

Your role in action:

  • Event Planning & Execution: Leads the full event cycle from concept to completion, including logistics, vendor management, and post-event reporting. Drives timelines, tracks milestones, and ensures the delivery of engaging, high-quality events;

  • Vendor & Partner Management: Negotiates and manages vendor and venue partnerships to align with event goals. Anticipates potential risks and develops contingency plans to ensure seamless execution;

  • Strategic Insight & Continuous Improvement: Analyzes event outcomes to identify opportunities for growth and innovation. Develops and implements plans to elevate future experiences and strengthen client satisfaction;

  • Process & Operational Excellence: Refines internal tools, templates, and workflows to support consistency and efficiency. Ensures critical documentation is captured and maintained across all projects;

  • Team Mentorship & Development: Mentors junior planners and contributes to a collaborative, high-performance team environment. Promotes knowledge sharing, accountability, and continuous learning; and

You’ll Thrive in this Role if:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, Communications, Not-for-Profit Management, or a related field;

  • You have 3-5+ years of relevant, full-scope event planning experience which includes planning, executing, and delivering on complex, large scale, high attendee conferences and events.

Serious Bonus Points if:

  • You have experience working with association management companies, or agencies; and/or

  • You have experience working with Boards of Directors, committees, and/or in the not-for-profit sector, and understand board governance and how volunteer leadership operates; and/or

  • You have a Digital Event Strategist (DES), Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), or a similar event designation is an asset; and/or

  • You are bilingual in English / French (an asset), with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.

Compensation Expectations for the Role:

We believe in fair, transparent, and growth-focused compensation. Our salary bands are designed to ensure equity across roles (and internally), with most new hires starting at the lower end to allow room for development and progression. That said, we recognize and reward experience – strong, seasoned candidates may start higher within the band.

Salary: $72,000 - $87,000

Benefits include:

  • Health, drug, dental, and vision benefits.

  • Employer-paid life insurance.

  • Paid sick days, personal days, and wellness days.

  • Paid time off between Christmas and New Year’s.

Redstone Life and Culture:
At Redstone, our culture is built on trust, growth, and connection. We empower our team to take ownership of their work, make meaningful contributions, and push the boundaries of their skill sets – all while providing the support needed to thrive. We believe every challenge is an opportunity to learn, excel, and create impact.

We’re also a people-first company. We foster a positive, inclusive, and sociable environment where every voice is heard, and genuine connections are built – whether through collaboration, intentional events, or just having fun together.

Everything we do is guided by our “Core Four” values: People, Trust, Impact, and Extra Mile – the foundation of how we work, grow, and support our clients across diverse industries.

Why Choose Us?

  • Flexible working hours

  • Hybrid work environment with expectation of ~1 day in-office per week

  • Opportunities for professional development through conferences, workshops, and certifications

  • Opportunities to travel for client events and activations.

  • Team initiatives and company events that encourage collaboration and engagement

Be yourself. We like it that way:
At Redstone, we are committed to creating an inclusive, equitable, and accessible workplace where everyone feels valued and supported. We believe that diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging strengthen both our culture and the work we deliver for clients.

We actively seek to build a team that reflects the diverse communities we serve. If you require accommodations at any stage of the hiring process, please let us know—we are happy to assist.
