Role Summary:
As a Project Manager – Life Sciences, you’ll lead the successful onboarding, implementation, and ongoing enablement of Patsnap customers across the life sciences sector.
This role is about turning access into impact. You’ll work closely with customers to understand their objectives, develop tailored project plans, coordinate key stakeholders, and ensure the Patsnap platform is adopted effectively and delivers measurable value.
You’ll manage projects from initial discovery and onboarding through to delivery and review, keeping timelines, actions, risks, and outcomes on track. You’ll also lead training sessions, workshops, and webinars that build customers’ confidence and capability with the platform.
Your scientific background will help you understand customers’ research, innovation, and commercial challenges, allowing you to translate complex concepts into relevant, practical solutions. You’ll become a trusted partner to your customers and a subject-matter expert in Patsnap’s life sciences products.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role for someone who enjoys building relationships, managing complex projects, and helping customers get lasting value from technology.
This is a hybrid position in our Toronto office with the expectation to work from the office on Wednesdays. You are welcome to work out of the office more often if you wish!

What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead customer onboarding and enablement projects from discovery through to successful delivery
Create and maintain clear project plans, timelines, milestones, and success measures
Coordinate customer stakeholders and internal teams to keep projects aligned and on track
Identify project risks, dependencies, or barriers to adoption and take proactive steps to address them
Deliver engaging product training, workshops, and best-practice sessions
Run webinars and develop scalable enablement programmes for customer teams
Build a strong understanding of each customer’s scientific workflows, objectives, and use cases
Monitor product adoption and engagement, identifying where additional support may be needed
Lead regular project updates and reviews, communicating progress clearly to stakeholders
Capture customer feedback and share relevant insights with our Product, Customer Success, and Commercial teams
Identify opportunities where additional Patsnap products or services could support the customer’s goals
Develop deep expertise in Patsnap’s life sciences solutions and the wider scientific and innovation intelligence market
Continuously improve our onboarding, project delivery, and customer enablement approaches
About You:
You have customer/client facing experience and are excellent at presenting.
You hold a university degree in a life sciences or related scientific discipline, such as biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, pharmacology, chemistry, or biomedical sciences
You are comfortable engaging with scientific and non-scientific stakeholders and can translate complex information into clear, practical guidance
You have strong project management skills and can confidently manage timelines, priorities, risks, and multiple stakeholders
You are an engaging communicator who is comfortable leading workshops, training sessions, and presentations
You take ownership of your work and follow projects through to completion
You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage several customer projects at once
You learn new products and technical concepts quickly and enjoy developing deep subject-matter expertise
You are confident working both independently and collaboratively across teams
You are comfortable with technology and genuinely interested in how AI can support scientific research and innovation
You take a solutions-focused approach and look for better ways to overcome challenges
You are based within commuting distance of our Toronto office and are comfortable working in a hybrid environment
Nice to have: You have experience managing customer-facing projects within life sciences, scientific software, SaaS, consulting, customer success, implementation, or a related environment
Nice to have: Experience with AI or agentic AI, intellectual property, scientific research, drug discovery, or R&D workflows

Salary: The hiring range for this role is between $70,000 - $75,000 CAD base and is bonus eligible (1 month’s salary).
