Night Shift Machine Operator - North York

Randstad Canada is currently hiring for one of our esteemed clients specializing in sports apparel customization & retail experience technology connecting consumers with authentic products & engaging customization experiences (embroidery, labels, and adhesives).

We are currently hiring for a Machine Operator - Warehouse Production (Heat Press Operator) for a 3-month contract with a possibility for extension and even full-time for the right candidate. If you are a student on an academic drop or scheduled break and willing to do hands-on factory work, we can hire you!

Location: Gurney Crescent, North York, ON

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Full-Time Hours)

PM Overnight Shift: 11:00pm - 7:00am

Pay Rate: $21.00/hr (PM Shift)

-Ensure accurate placement and alignment of designs. (centered)
-Monitor and maintain equipment for optimal performance.
-Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly.
-Collaborate with the production team to meet daily production goals.
-Perform quality control to ensure finished products meet standards.
-Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in heat press or machines in the apparel industry.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to stand for majority of the shift.
- Familiarity with diverse heat transfer materials.
-Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Technical troubleshooting capability
- Proficiency in English.
- Ability to lift moderate weights and stand for extended periods.
