Treasury Analyst

About the Opportunity

· Manage daily cash operations for Canadian Corporate Treasury, including cash positioning, account reconciliations, and reporting.

· Monitor daily cash activity and prepare cash flow forecasts.

· Administer and maintain the organization's treasury management system.

· Coordinate liquidity management initiatives, including cash pooling and intercompany funding activities.

· Serve as the primary liaison with banking partners, ensuring compliance with corporate banking policies.

· Manage and enhance the intercompany payment netting process.

· Maintain treasury policies, procedures, and documentation in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) internal control requirements.

· Prepare, review, and process a variety of domestic and international payments through electronic banking platforms.

· Manage bank account administration, including account maintenance and user access in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

· Execute short-term investment and foreign exchange (FX) transactions in accordance with treasury strategies and policies.

· Maintain supplier banking information and vendor records within the Supplier Maintenance Agreement system.

· Provide administration and employee support for the SAP Concur travel and expense management system.

· Support corporate credit card administration, including vendor code maintenance.

· Coordinate Fleet Program administration, including vehicle documentation, toll inquiries, fines, and related activities.

· Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting.

· Support internal control compliance, audit requirements, and ad hoc financial analysis.

· Drive process improvements by implementing lean accounting principles and identifying operational efficiencies.

· Participate in special projects and provide support to the Global Treasury Services team as required.

About You

· College diploma or post-secondary education in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.

· 3–5 years of experience in a treasury, cash management, or corporate finance environment.

· Strong understanding of treasury operations, cash management, and banking processes.

· High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential information.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.

· Collaborative team player with the ability to build effective relationships across departments and external partners.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

· Experience with treasury management systems, SAP Concur, or ERP systems is considered an asset.

· Knowledge of automation and productivity tools such as Power Query or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is an asset.

· Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

· Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization.

Salary Range

$80,000 - $90,000/year
