SumTotal LMS Administrator

Our team at Cella by Randstad Digital is actively recruiting for a Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator on behalf of a leading enterprise client in Canada. This is a 1-year, fully remote contract position supporting large-scale enterprise learning and development initiatives.

In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing an enterprise SumTotal LMS platform. You will work directly with internal stakeholders to manage audience scoping, ensure compliance with training requirements, execute day-to-day LMS operations, and maintain seamless data integrity across global learning programs.

Responsibilities
Lead audience scoping reviews with stakeholders and create formal approval documentation.

Build, quality-check, and maintain targeted learning audiences based on complex HR data.

Process incoming business learning requests, ticket workflows, and ongoing platform maintenance.

Configure, test, and launch eLearning courses, Instructor-Led Training (ILT), and virtual classroom sessions.

Collaborate with learning architects, program managers, designers, and HR data teams to support broader training objectives.

Maintain accurate administrative records, spec documentation, and configuration decisions to ensure operational compliance.

Qualifications
Extensive hands-on administration experience within an enterprise LMS, specifically SumTotal.

Demonstrated ability to interpret HR data for precise audience targeting and scoping.

Proven experience managing workflows through ticket tracking systems.

Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy in technical documentation, and strong stakeholder communication skills.

Post-secondary degree or equivalent practical experience in Adult Education, HR, Instructional Systems, or a related field.
