Cella by Randstad Digital is seeking a dynamic, revenue-focused marketing professional to join our client’s team as an Integrated Marketing & Go-to-Market Manager or Director (level dependent on experience). In this high-impact contract position with potential for conversion, you will sit at the intersection of strategy and execution—driving physical store traffic and overall retail revenue goals by orchestrating inputs across store operations, visual merchandising, creative, retail, operations, and finance teams.
Our client’s core strategy is 80% defined; they urgently need a collaborative leader to step in, take ownership of the brick-and-mortar go-to-market calendar, execute critical Q4 holiday in-store plans, and guide upcoming major physical store product launches. You will initially report to the interim leadership structure and oversee the execution of key commercial priorities. This is an interim opportunity with potential to be full-time.
Advantages
Flexible Working Model: Remote options available during the interim period, with a hybrid setup (1 day/week onsite in Toronto) or flexible arrangements for Vancouver-based talent
High-Impact Scope: Own key commercial moments (Q4/Black Friday, core product lines, new launches) in a fast-paced, direct-to-consumer environment.
Working with a team on the ground level as they build out their integrated marketing team.
Conversion Opportunity: Strong potential for permanent conversion for the right talent
Responsibilities
Drive and execute cross-functional go-to-market strategies, connecting campaign planning directly to measurable store foot traffic, basket size, and retail revenue outcomes.
Translate strategic priorities into actionable creative briefs, in-store channel activation plans, timelines, and milestone trackers.
Act as the connective tissue between physical store managers, visual merchandising, creative, brand, inventory, and finance teams to keep major retail moments on schedule.
Execute major promotional and seasonal in-store campaigns (including Q4/Black Friday primary and backup plans) while managing always-on store product priorities.
Oversee day-to-day workflow management, project management tools, and project leadership for supporting team members.
Manage post-campaign performance reviews, translating foot-traffic trends, register data, and operational insights into execution improvements for future store launches.
Qualifications
Experience: Direct experience leading cross-functional integrated marketing or GTM strategy within a brick-and-mortar or physical retail-first consumer business (wellness, beauty, lifestyle, or fast-paced physical retail background preferred).
Commercial Orientation: Proven ability to approach marketing through a revenue-focused, analytical lens, with a deep understanding of store economics, foot-traffic drivers, and in-store conversion metrics.
Agility & Growth Mindset: Comfortable navigating fast-moving, entrepreneurial retail environments; able to pivot quickly based on real-time store performance data.
Stakeholder Management: Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills to build trust across store operations, regional leads, and functional heads without direct authority.
Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with modern project management and collaboration systems (such as Asana, Figma, and Office 365).
Summary
This is an urgent, time-sensitive contract opportunity to lead critical go-to-market initiatives for a high-growth brand with a strong retail footprint. If you possess a revenue-first physical retail marketing mindset and thrive on turning strategy into seamless operational execution on the store floor, we want to hear from you immediately.
Due to the rapid timeline for this hire, qualified candidates are encouraged to apply promptly by submitting an updated resume and work samples/portfolio illustrating successful brick-and-mortar GTM or integrated retail campaign executions.
