Job description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Machine Operator or technician to join a premier furniture manufacturing team in Kitchener, ON. In this role, you will set up, operate, and monitor specialized industrial machinery in a fast-paced production environment. If you are looking for a new challenge, apply today!



Advantages
Pay rate: $22-23/hr
Location: Kitchener, ON
Schedule: Afternoon shift, Monday to Friday
Work Type: Temp-to-Perm employment
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities
Prepare, fine-tune, and run Biesse CNC machines and woodworking tools based on specific project requirements.
Conduct ongoing inspections of finished wood components to guarantee precise tolerances and top-tier surface finishes.
Review blueprints, schematics, and work orders to execute accurate measurements and specs.
Oversee active machinery, run routine performance checks, and resolve technical glitches on the fly.
Safely load, unload, and maneuver heavy timber and furniture parts throughout the production floor.
Utilize various hand and power tools to make manual adjustments and assemble sub-components.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment.
Experience interpreting blueprints and using various tools.
Ability to stand and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
Willingness to learn and attention to detail.
