We are currently seeking an Insurance Accounting and Bookkeeping Clerk to join our Insurance Services team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and supporting a fast-paced business environment.

What You'll Do

Accounting & Reconciliations
  • Reconcile daily insurance deposits and financial transactions
  • Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records
Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • Process invoices and payments to insurance companies and vendors
  • Maintain customer and insurance company billing records
  • Support collections and account reconciliation activities
  • Process refunds and payment requests as required
Reporting & Insurance Support
  • Reconcile commission reports and financial data
  • Assist with financial reporting and administrative support
What You Bring
  • Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or financial administration
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset
  • Insurance industry experience is an asset
