We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join a dynamic back-office operations team during a peak seasonal period. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, interpreting, and accurately processing source documents—including account applications and client onboarding forms—into internal systems and tracking tools.

Location: Multiple GTA Locations (Toronto, Mississauga, Burlington, Vaughan, North York)
Position Type: Full-Time, Onsite (5 Days/Week)
Duration: 3-Month Contract (Potential for extension based on performance and business needs)
Pay Rate: $19.45 / hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Overtime possible based on volume)

Responsibilities
Data Entry & Validation: Accurately enter, update, and maintain client information and records in internal databases and tracking spreadsheets.
Document Review: Examine, interpret, and verify source documents (such as account applications and client onboarding files) to ensure completeness.
Discrepancy Resolution: Identify, investigate, and correct data errors or escalate unresolved issues to project leads.
Quality Assurance: Perform self-audits and QA checks on completed records to minimize error rates and meet strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Record Keeping: Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, completed work, and outstanding items.
Compliance & Privacy: Strictly adhere to documented operational procedures, privacy guidelines, and data governance standards when handling sensitive client data.

Qualifications
Must-Have Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: 1–3 years of proven data entry and administrative experience.
Document Handling: Prior experience reviewing and processing client account/onboarding documentation.
Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Work Arrangement: Willingness and flexibility to work 100% onsite (5 days/week) across assigned GTA locations as needed.

Soft Skills:
Independence: Strong ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
Accuracy: Exceptional attention to detail with high speed and low error rates.
Time Management: Excellent organization skills to manage daily tasks and meet productivity targets.

Nice-to-Have Skills (Assets):
Prior experience in the Banking or Financial Services sector.
Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint.
