The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall operation, including the active management of bank balances, investment products, and institutional investment portfolios. This role involves the development, implementation, and monitoring of corporate investment strategies, as well as the management of investment programs. The Chief Investment Officer will also be tasked with reviewing and evaluating securities and alternative investment opportunities, executing debt issuances, and ensuring compliance with investment policies and procedures. Applicants for the Chief Investment Officer position at the company should have a University degree in finance or economics, with a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in senior investment management. The role requires a deep understanding of investment management principles, fixed income and equity trading, and institutional portfolio management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in government debenture issues, and experience in debt capital markets. Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage a multidisciplinary team and interact effectively with various stakeholders. The Chief Investment Officer will also be expected to have a thorough knowledge of relevant statutes and regulations, and a commitment to the values of the organization.
