  • Provide senior‑level engineering review of shop drawings, construction oversight, inspections, field surveys, and acceptance testing for life safety systems
  • Conduct fire hazard, life safety, and code compliance assessments for existing facilities, including hazardous materials evaluations
  • Mentor, coach, and provide technical direction to fire protection team members while supporting training, reporting, and emergency engineering response

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 + years of related professional experience, including at least 5 years providing fire protection engineering and consulting services
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering OR a college diploma or degree in Fire Protection Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology, or Building Design Technology
  • Licensed by PEO, OAA, or an equivalent professional regulatory body
  • Advanced technical expertise in performance‑based design, fire protection analysis, computational modeling, life safety systems, and interpretation of fire and building codes and standards
