Electro Mechanical Maintenance Technician Night Shift (C License)

Hourly Rate: $43.54 + night shift premium

Work Schedule:

• Primary: Night Shift Sunday night to Friday morning, 10:00 PM 6:00 AM.
• Initial Training Period: Approximately 3 months on the day shift (Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM 2:00 PM).

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and servicing on all plant equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Install new electrical equipment and circuits in compliance with electrical code standards.
• Conduct routine inspection rounds using checklists.
• Support investigations and corrective actions for recurring equipment issues.
• Follow ISO-9001 quality procedures.
• Perform other related maintenance and technical tasks as required.

Required Education & Experience:

• College diploma (DEC) in Electromechanics, Industrial Mechanics, or an equivalent qualification.
• Valid C License in Electricity (mandatory).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong commitment to health, safety, and adherence to ISO procedures.
• Ability and willingness to work the night shift schedule outlined above.
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a hot and demanding production environment.
• Proficiency in French (spoken and written).
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and technical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and automated control systems.
• Welding proficiency in TIG, arc, and stick methods.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
