Job description

About the Role

Reporting to the Studies Manager, the Project Engineer will support the delivery of mining project studies across Torex’s growing portfolio. The initial focus will be the Los Reyes Project in Sinaloa, Mexico, with additional support provided to projects at the Morelos Complex as required.

You will serve as a key technical interface between Torex and external engineering consultants. You will review multidisciplinary engineering work, support mine design and scenario analysis, and help ensure technical deliverables meet Torex standards and project requirements. You will work closely with internal technical specialists and participate actively in consultant meetings throughout the study process.

This is a new role within a growing projects team. It offers the opportunity to contribute to projects as they progress from studies through feasibility and execution, with the potential to take on broader technical and mentoring responsibilities as the portfolio expands.

About Torex Gold

“Our purpose is to transform finite mineral resources into lasting prosperity

by positively

impacting

all the lives we touch.”

We are a Canadian mining company engaged in the exploration, development, and production of gold, copper, and silver from our flagship Morelos Complex in Guerrero, which is currently Mexico’s largest single gold producer. The Company also owns the advanced-stage Los Reyes gold-silver project in Sinaloa, Mexico, and a portfolio of early-stage exploration properties, including the Batopilas and Guigui projects in Chihuahua, Mexico, and the Medicine Springs project in Nevada, USA, as well as an option to acquire the Gryphon project in Nevada, USA.

Torex consistently delivers on our commitments guided by our key strategic objectives: optimize Morelos production and costs; disciplined growth and capital allocation; grow reserves and resources; project delivery excellence; retain and attract best industry talent; and be an industry leader in responsible mining. In addition to realizing the full potential of the Morelos Property, the Company continues to seek opportunities to acquire assets that enable diversification and deliver value to shareholders.

We have proven over the past decade that we can make a positive impact on people’s lives and the environment around us, all while improving safety, achieving operational efficiencies, realizing cost reductions, and generating positive return on investment. This is what makes us strong. This is the Torex way.
