The VP, Global Procurement will oversee strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, category management, pricing strategy, and global vendor relationships while ensuring alignment with CarltonOne's business objectives, customer needs, and market opportunities. This leader will play a critical role in enhancing supplier performance, optimizing commercial agreements, and expanding CarltonOne's global reward ecosystem.

The ideal candidate is a strategic procurement executive with deep experience in supplier management, commercial negotiations, pricing strategy, and leading high-performing teams in a global environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute CarltonOne's global procurement strategy in alignment with corporate growth, profitability, and customer experience objectives.
  • Lead the organization's global procurement function, ensuring a scalable and high-performing supplier ecosystem across all regions.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen CarltonOne's competitive position through strategic sourcing, supplier diversification, and category expansion.
  • Establish procurement governance, policies, and best practices that support long-term business growth.
  • Partner with executive leadership to drive procurement initiatives that improve revenue, margin performance, and market competitiveness.
  • Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing global procurement team while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Strategic Supplier Relationships & Commercial Partnerships

  • Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with key global suppliers and strategic partners.
  • Lead complex contract negotiations to secure favorable commercial terms, pricing structures, rebates, funding programs, and partnership agreements.
  • Identify and cultivate new supplier partnerships that enhance CarltonOne's global reward offering and market differentiation.
  • Serve as the senior escalation and relationship owner for strategic supplier engagements.
  • Establish supplier segmentation and performance frameworks that drive accountability and long-term value creation.
  • Monitor market trends and supplier innovation to identify new opportunities and emerging categories.
  • Lead the development and execution of CarltonOne's global pricing strategy across products, rewards, and supplier categories.
  • Partner with Finance and Commercial leaders to optimize margins, supplier funding opportunities, and overall profitability.
  • Evaluate supplier pricing models and commercial structures to ensure competitiveness and alignment with business objectives.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance pricing consistency, governance, and transparency across global markets.
  • Leverage data and market intelligence to inform pricing decisions, sourcing strategies, and supplier negotiations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve commercial performance through strategic cost management and value-based procurement practices.

Category Management & Global Assortment Growth

  • Oversee strategic category planning and supplier portfolio management across CarltonOne's reward ecosystem.
  • Drive the expansion of global and regional supplier networks to support customer demand and market growth opportunities.
  • Ensure a balanced and differentiated assortment strategy that supports customer engagement, retention, and revenue objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities within key product and service categories.
  • Develop category strategies that maximize supplier value, reward relevance, and market competitiveness.

Executive Collaboration & Business Partnership

  • Serve as the primary procurement leader and strategic advisor to executive stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and Technology.
  • Provide insights on supplier markets, pricing trends, commercial risks, and growth opportunities to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate across the organization to align procurement priorities with customer needs, business objectives, and global expansion plans.
  • Represent CarltonOne in executive-level supplier meetings, industry forums, and strategic partnership discussions.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and new market expansion initiatives as required.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in global procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, or commercial leadership roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; advanced degree considered an asset.
  • Proven success developing and executing procurement strategies within a global, technology-enabled, eCommerce, loyalty, rewards, or SaaS environment.
  • Extensive experience leading high-value supplier negotiations and managing complex commercial relationships.
  • Strong background in pricing strategy, commercial optimization, and margin improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams across multiple regions.
  • Experience influencing executive stakeholders and driving organizational change.
  • Strong analytical, financial, negotiation, and strategic planning capabilities.

Here are some additional perks that we provide:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Access to our employee benefits portal for exclusive discounts.
  • Monthly company-wide events, celebrations, and team activities.
