Job description

Get started on an exciting career at Element!

Element employees make a difference in the lives of others every day. We are re-defining the fleet management industry to be people first, then business – delivering on our promise of a superior client experience. This takes hard work and innovation, and we need more like-minded people on our team.

About The Role

We’re looking for a collaborative, adaptable, and solutions-oriented professional to join our team as Sr. Intelligent Automation Analyst. In this role, you will improve finance processes and business performance by identifying, designing, and delivering automation, AI, analytics, and process improvement solutions across the financial shared services environment. You will drive measurable efficiency gains, strengthen controls, enhance data-driven decision-making, and support the successful adoption of new technologies and ways of working. Through strong stakeholder partnership and end-to-end project delivery, you will help modernize finance operations and build scalable capabilities across the organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze finance processes, workflows, and pain points to identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, digitize, and automate work.
  • Assess business needs and recommend practical solutions that improve efficiency, control, quality, and stakeholder experience.
  • Lead projects through the full lifecycle, including discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
  • Develop and enhance intelligent automation, reporting, and workflow solutions using Alteryx, Power BI, Power Automate, SQL, AI-enabled tools, and other current or emerging platforms.
  • Extract, transform, analyze, and interpret data to support financial and operational decision-making.
  • Create dashboards, KPI reporting, exception reporting, trend analysis, and visualizations that provide clear, actionable insight into business performance.
  • Partner proactively with stakeholders across finance and the broader business, including managers, directors, vice presidents, and executive leadership, depending on project scope and impact.
  • Prepare and maintain clear documentation, including business requirements, process maps, project materials, user guides, SOPs, and problem-resolution documentation.
  • Support change management activities, post-implementation support, solution monitoring, and continuous improvement.
  • Stay current on automation, AI, analytics, and other emerging technologies and assess their potential application within finance processes.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, statistics, data analytics, information systems, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business process engineering, finance transformation, a top-tier management consulting environment, or as a data, automation, or business intelligent analyst supporting finance or related functions.
  • Experience working in finance or financial services environments, with understanding of finance processes, operational workflows, and business drivers.
  • Hands-on experience with Alteryx is required.
  • Hands-on experience with automation, reporting, analytics, databases, and querying tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, SQL, Snowflake, SnowSQL, and related technologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting finance, process improvement areas, or a center of excellence within a broader finance process improvement environment.
  • Experience leading or supporting intelligent automation, workflow automation, low-code/no-code, robotic process automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools to improve workflows, reporting, analysis, or business processes.
  • Experience creating KPI dashboards, exception reporting, trend analysis, benchmarking, and other business performance reporting.
  • Experience with enterprise systems such as SAP S/4HANA or similar platforms.
  • Experience supporting change management, adoption, training, or knowledge-sharing activities related to new tools or process changes.

Location

Toronto, Ontario. The office will move to 1 Adelaide in Toronto in September 2026
