Job Description

Seed and grow your career within MLSEs Groundskeeping team!

Partnering with the Supervisor Groundskeeping youll support the preparation and maintenance of world-class playing surfaces for Toronto FC and Toronto Argonauts. This part-time contract role will give you hands-on experience with field operations at both BMO Field and BMO Training Ground. Youll work closely with facility and operations staff to ensure our athletes compete on safe professional-quality fields.

Position Type: Part-time Contract until December 31 2026

Responsibilities

You want a role where your work has a direct impact on the game. At MLSE youll:

• Contribute to the preparation of professional soccer and football fields at BMO Field and BMO Training Ground.

• Operate field and landscaping equipment including tractors mowers and line trimmers.

• Support painting and lining of multiple types of athletic fields to professional standards.

• Maintain landscaping around stadium and training facilities to the highest quality.

• Assist in the day-to-day upkeep of grounds to ensure athlete staff and fan safety.

• Collaborate with teammates across Operations to deliver exceptional playing conditions.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work extended hours including some evenings and weekends.

• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Comfort working outdoors in variable weather conditions.

• Valid Full G drivers license in good standing is an asset.

Additional Details:

• Work location: BMO Field and BMO Training Ground (Downsview Park).

• Contract: Part-time 3040 hours per week 5-6 days a week.
