Required Skills:
Required Skills & Experience 3 years hands-on experience as an automotive technician preferably in a European-focused shop or dealership. Strong proficiency with VW/Audi mechanical systems including TFSI engines DSG transmissions MQB platform components and common failure patterns. Ability to diagnose complex electrical issues CAN-bus faults and module communication problems. Experience using VCDS ODIS or equivalent diagnostic platforms. Solid understanding of European vehicle service procedures torque specifications and repair standards. Ability to perform engine mechanical work (timing chains turbo systems carbon cleaning etc.). Strong problem-solving skills and disciplined diagnostic methodology. Valid 310S certification (Ontario) or equivalent. Clean drivers licence. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a VW/Audi dealership or specialist independent shop. Familiarity with BMW Mercedes Volvo or other European brands (asset). Experience with performance modifications tuning or aftermarket upgrades (optional). Ability to mentor apprentices or junior technicians
